I also enjoyed the Inspect mode, which breaks out commonly used words and reading level. The write to text feature is awesome! With full input recording options and a simple loop insert function and editing interface nearly identical to Looptastic, Studio HD seems to be stuck somewhere in between being a true DAW and the aforementioned Looptastic.
It would have been nice to see a punch in feature. It gives the user arrow keys to easily edit text, a feature that tablet users have lived without for too long. GoodNotes also supports PDF reading and annotating, many organization options, and links to the Dropbox and Box online services.
Though limited in options, StudioMini is a solid, straight forward multi-track recorder that does what it claims to do, and does it well. The search feature is finicky and has trouble registering what I write. We use shared iPads and this allows for more than one student to write, store and share their written responses on the device.
I also respect and trust the company to take a long-term and user-centric approaching to building its products.
Best Loved Nothing speaks best to a product quality than its user testimonials from those who bought it with their hard-earned money and use it day-in-day-out. But overall this is just quality stuff that is often lacking on the expanse that is the EDU app store.
